A bit about us

Founded in 2004, Electrismo is a multifaceted business offering all types of electrical services including:

• Electrical wiring/re-wiring of properties
• Electrical installation testing and certification
• PAT testing
• Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting installations
• Electrical installation repairs and maintenance

Over the years, Electricians frequently encountered 3 main problems:  

1. Guiding the screw into the small threaded lugs which are in metal back boxes, when mounting accessories such as sockets onto them. Frequently, this process, wastes time and causes frustration. This, particularly occurs when the boxes are in awkward positions, such as in corners over kitchen worktops, where a direct view over the box is not possible.  
2. The possibility of the thread in back boxes becoming damaged, to the degree that the screw will not be able to be inserted into the lug. 
3. The screw piercing the conductor insulation when being inserted into the box  

We wished there was a way to make this process easier for ourselves and all others in the industry.

We have two products solving these problems.   

• A new type of box which will incorporate adaptors that will easily guide the screws into the threaded lugs. 
• Adaptors that will be retrofitted into existing type of metal back boxes.
