What’s the difference between the White and Red adapters?
Stripped threads? Choose the Red adapter. Threads still intact? Go for White.
Will this work with my back box?
Yes, our adapters are compatible with all sizes of metal back boxes currently on the market.
Do I need any special tools to install it?
No special tools needed. Just snap it into place.
What size drill bit do I need for the Red adapter?
The Red adapter incorportes a new, built-in 3.5mm thread, far stronger than the original 1mm thread. Simply drill out the damaged thread with a 4mm/4.5mm drill bit, then insert the adapter.
Are the adapters suitable for DIY use, or only for qualified electricians?
Both. No special qualifications are needed to use the adapters.
