Absolutely fantastic!!! So many of the lugs within my sockets and light boxes were either threaded or wouldn't hold the new faceplate when upgrading to decorative sockets and switches.

These are a game changer. No more trying to self tap the back of a box of gently pry the entire box out.

Smart bit of thinking to fix an age old problem when you cross thread or strip the thread on a backing box. Also makes it easier on deep boxes to get the screws to line up.

Fantastic and just what I need! Ordered a pack from Amazon as soon as I seen this post.

Normally I don’t write reviews, but these deserve some praise. If you’ve ever suffered from stripped threads in your electrical back boxes then you should not hesitate in getting these little gadgets.

Brilliant accessory! Was literally just discussing this with someone yesterday.

Brilliant idea. I'd definitely earth the back box now seen as the screw is now no longer screwed in to the lugs on the back that the wood screw was previously providing the earth to the metal box
